Sorry, your original question was just on where are the backup files located. That's what I answered. I didn't realize you were looking to browse their contents.
It's OK, thanks.

It's normal and no, it won't hinder performance. Page ins occur when your computer copies information (apps, documents, etc.) from the hard drive into RAM to work on it. It's the page outs and swap used that indicate whether you're maxing out RAM or not.
Mac OS X: Reading system memory usage in Activity Monitor (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1342)
Not sure how you put together an awesome response back so fast, but thanks!:D Since I have only 60 page outs, Im assuming my 4gb ram is not being maxed out.
Thanks again!

Alright, so i just came back from this boutique. Nice place. A little small but given that their were about 20-30 people inside, who cares. Nice employees too, a lot better then those in Laval (sorry). Then again, it IS the grand opening today and happy customers = happy employees :) hahaha...
Either way, it's a cool boutique. I see it as being one of those stores where the relationship between a customer and salesperson to be a lot closer than what you'll see in a much larger store.
I should of stuck around for the prizes but i wasn't going to wait for an hour till 12:30  Anyways! thumbs up! Check this place out! :D

Autistic kids dont need a freaking iPad to learn. Especially not ASD patients.
I am one, and I have come along way according to many doctors ive seen.
The main issue is telling kids that they will never get better and not pushing them.
People used to say id never be able to talk, yet i live on my own, go to school, and have a well-paying job.
Now can people stop the crap, and give these kids the treatment they really need?
-gosh.

Sorry for the noob question...but I can't find out how to connect my iMacs cd drive to my MacBook air so that I can install a program... Thanx for the help!!!
The installation discs that come with Macs are model-specific and are not for use on other models.

Does anybody have the Itunes CD that comes with the ipods? Preferrably nano/5G video. If so, is there anybody who would be willing to send it out to me? If you really want I guess I could thow a buck or two over to cover the stamp.

Can't say I'm a big fan of this feature. Theoretically it could be useful in PRSI when somebody tries to deny that they ever said something, but beyond that...
Do I really want every instance where I corrected a misspelling, replaced an adjective with a better one, or moved a few words around, on record?
Even in PRSI I don't really see the point. People there have fast eyes and long memories, so it really isn't likely you can get away with deleting your words and then denying you ever said them, unless you really did it immediately. And that, I think, can be forgiven. We've all written something a little rash and then immediately changed or deleted it.

Well, unfortunately my iphone 4 died on me last night and became stuck in recovery mode and I've tried every fix I could find via Google, Apple Support, and this forum, to no avail. So, I have no choice but to take it to a genius bar at the local Apple Store. However, I have a first gen iPhone that still works fine and I was wondering if there's any way I can switch my iPhone 4 account to that phone until I'm able to get my iPhone 4 repaired. Or am I just SOL and will have to wait it out?
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you put your iphone in Pwned DFU mode before you try to restore to the custom 4.3.2 ipsw with itunes.
Once you do that correct you wont need to use Tinyumbrella to kick it out of recovery, it will start right up after the restore is done.

I also have Server running on a Mini. The disks that ship with the Apple machines (usually have a dark grey color scheme) are CUSTOM to the machine they ship with and usually (in my experience, always) do NOT install on anything other than that precise configuration. I learned the hard way trying to configure RAID on the two included 2.5" hard drives. If you have a RETAIL version of the server operating system (a disc with a picture of the Snow Leopard on it), then you should have no problem installing assuming there are no Intel/G5 issues. Also, the Xserve itself should have come with install discs that were "native" to it, so that would be aother choice you could explore.

I bought a new 13" macbook pro today, 2.7GHz i7, but it has randomly shut down on me 4 or 5 times now, in the 10 hours that i have it. The first time was when i was setting up the mac when i first booted it up. Then i just assumed faulty OS install, i put in my vertex 3, installed the OS on there, but it happened a couple other times. Can i fix this? Should i return it? Thanks!

I've seen them from time to time elsewhere in very limited quantities, but they are usually a bad deal. Apple refurbs come with the full factory warranty same as a new Apple. I assume they go through very high quality testing, and are repackaged as if new.
Other refurbs are essentially used computers that some third party has tested in some way, with a very short warranty that has to be handled through them. Often original accessories and CDs are not included.
But if you really want that, you can look at Powermax.com, themacstore.com, and occasionally buy.com.

I think when I looked earlier they were $1699.
WOW! That is a great price... too bad I missed it and I have no use for a dual G5 haha.

I would except I threw away the reciept and packaging a while ago. I'll just continue using this one until I can find a good deal on a better one.
