One lost his job and opted for subsidized COBRA. After one month he got job from small company. New employer does not pay for health insurance and insurance premium is more than subsidized COBRA premium.
In this case, Is it ok to continue using subsidized COBRA even after getting new job?

I have an approved I-140 from my previous employer. Is there anyway, I can expedite my labor certification, I-140 approval and I-485 through my new employer on the basis of the previous approvals? I have a PD of jan'04. I know I retain my PD due to the I-140 but I wanted to know if there is anyway to not wait for the time it takes to get approval on LC and I-140.

The purpose behind this move is to make the process more efficient and to reduce fraud by having each service center specialize in processing a particular form. But if the BECs are anything to go by, I will be surprised if this doesn't make things worse.

No mention of it's sensor size, presumably 1.5 crop like the D2H. A pricebreakthrough - for Nikon - but I don't see much else of interest. Another DX-format tele-zoom coming. Yawn.
Available "spring 2004"? Seems dumb to put it off that long - so there must be some more development work yet to do. I guess that aligns with PMA, though.

Same thing happened to my wife's EAD.
USCIS did a mistake on address (forgot to include apt #) and it was returned undeliverable.
Called USICS and spoke to IO , she told us that she will order to resend again.
After 30 days still not received.
Called again USCIS, this time they opened a Service Request and asked us wait for another 25 days.
I am not sure what can we do about it.
We have received all receipts and AP.
It would creat problem if somebody has job waiting and they don't have EAD.

I am applying for my change of status from h1b to Green card based on immediate relative who is spouce and a US citizen.
On the form 485 , to mentions the non traffic citations do I need to mention the following citation that I received last year.
1) Summary charge - Citation for Fishing without Fishing License in State of PA
2) Summary Charge - Citation for False statement to the park officer about possesion of the Fishing License.
Do I need to mention these citation when filing for form 485 ? (150$ fine)
Is this going to affect the Immigration application? (200$ fine)

Hi All,
I need to travel urgently to India due to some family issue and my EAD is expiring in Aug 2010. I need to apply for my renewal before I fly out this Sunday since I will have to be in India for 30 days. Can I e file my application from here and send the supporting documentation by Saturday? If so, I want to make sure that if for some reason, I get a biometrics appt., while in India, how can I postpone it? and also there won't be any issues with my EAD renewal app since I will be India and My I 94 will change once I am back.

I just finished an intership with a company that does essentially what you do, except that they are already established in the Philadelphia Area. I don't know much, but I think your best bet would be to contact local businesses that might need multimedia stuff. Also, put some time into making a really /really/ kickass site, being as it is what is selling your services.

These guys are filing 2106 form for claiming employee job expenses and Misc deductions and getting more refund.
In my case my offshore company (in India) has office in NY/NJ and I am working in Georgia state and for whole year 2007 i was working in Georgia state and I had never been to NY/NJ.
In this scenario can i claim for rent/meals/commutation/laundry?
There are many applicants filing through these tax preparer's approx 2,50,000 are these agencies reliable?

My wife and I will be Canadian Permanent Residents in a few months. I am on EAD with I485 pending and have AP. She is on H1B
We will need to Travel to Canada for Immigrant Landing formalities after we get PR.
How can we enter back in US so that my AOS and her H1B Status is not affected?

Normal daily parking is $12 to $16 within 1/2 mile of Washington Monument (familiar vertical landmark). Never-the-less, if possible, Metro rail is the hassle-free choice.

As long as they have valid visa, there should not be any problem entering after short gap outside USA.
I guess IO can object if this happens very frequently but in that case they will warn first rather than taking other action.
