IV makes a public announcement of its advisory board today. These advisors have been associated with Immigrationvoice for quite some time and we have decided to make the names public after they gave us permission to make their information public. Some more names will be announced in the near future if others associated with IV agree. These are top leaders in administration, industry, research and advocacy. We have been happy and fortunate to have them with Immigration Voice. We thank all IV members for supporting IV due to which we could make IV a nationally respected organization and a voice of legal high-skilled community. Its time for us now to work together and achieve our goals.

Very simple. Impose some kind of a tax for companies not registered in India but have employees more than 20,000. Kinda foolish to do this but I guess a small tx would get the money back.

Reading the SOP on I-485 processing, I found that the application is stamped with the receipt date in the mail room. When the package is eventually opened the receipt date is compared with the visa bulletin as of that receipt date and if PD is not current the application is rejected.

I believe they go by RD if the PD is current. My RD is jul 2nd and my application reached them early AM on Jul 2nd.

1. When you file it online, the category for your wife would be h4.
2. Send it separately please.
3. Send the following after applying online:
a. A print out of the confirmation page that you will get after applying online.
b. 2 Pics each. Put your a# on the back of the pics.
c. A copy of any approval notice showing your current status in USA.
d. A copy of I 485 reciept notice.
e. A copy of old AP (if any).
g. A small letter mentioning why you need the AP.
Thats it and you are all set.

Myy EAD is expiring and Renewal is taking more than 1 year as per new processing times.
Can I switch back to H1-B. I am in EAD and I dont have any H1-B status now. I have used 5 1/2 years of h1B previously. Six years is not utilized

I can file my 485 from outside the country ? I always thought that once I go out of the country i will have to refile my I140 and then 485 in consular processing.
Once you go out of the country without filing 485 or getting EAD after 485. Your 140 and LC is still valid (provided the employer has not cancelled it). If the job and position for you still exists in the company (and the company wants you for employment), you can file 485 from anywhere and go for councellor processing.

J. is right. Manual focus and exposure bracketing are what you need to do. I have a D70 and have learned quite a lot with it, as you will. I take a meter reading in the auto mode and then switch to manual mode enter in the same settings and adjust as needed. Usually with a smaller aperture (larger number).

I dont know if this is possible but how about applying for EB3 using premium processing and once it is approved u have ur prority date set to Apr 2004 and then apply for EB2 I140 and ask for the April 2004 priority date.
I am not sure if u can do this, looking forward from others to see if this is possible.

Me and My friend developed a product, which is ready to launch. The product is very good and two fortune 500companies are willing to implement the product and back us up.
Now my problem is I am on H1B working fulltime with a company and also have an EAD. At this moment I cannot leave my fulltime job. My question is , if I can be a partner with my friend in the new company we are forming( My friend is a US citizen), also will I be able to get paid ( as the developement of the product drained my pocket, this was the hope and I think we are close to reap the hardwork) . Also my wife is also on EAD , can she be the partner? Will there be any issue if I can do that.
Please help!!
