When it comes to Samsung, Apples out of its league.
Given the terrific success of the pads & phones, this attack on Samsung by Apple is quite out of place.
Any resemblance between a Galaxy and iPhone is to Apples advantage anyway. Yet that said, Jobs has always been highly paranoid.

Q: Should I want my device to no longer be able to share information with third parties, and I turn off Location Services, does my iPhone continue to do so? A: No.
Q: Is the anonymous, encrypted information sent back to Apple currently used for any other purpose than to speed up finding my location when I am using GPS services so I don't have to wait several minutes each time? A: No.
Q: Is the location data on my iPhone my actual whereabouts? A: No. It's cell towers and Wi-Fi hotspots nearby, some more than 100 miles away.

I am using win7 through bootcamp, but i can't use the two fingers-right click on the track pad and also the fn key doesn't work.

US debt is approximately $14 trillion. A peta- is 1000 times larger than a tera- and you are suggesting that the debt is 1000 time larger than that. That's OK, you only missed by a factor of one million.

Then when you use an email Server use IMAP (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_Message_Access_Protocol) instead of POP (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post_Office_Protocol) and keep your email on the server (until that server goes away).

Here are a few more things to fix:
Drag and drop iDisk including right click for renames, etc.
The ability to update the calendar on the web.
An easy way to view published calendars.
A photocast that actually works with other platforms and browsers.
Better integration of iWeb and .Mac (get rid of those old web templates).
I am sure there are more, but these things irk me right now...

Soft drinks are another example of a typical loss leader for grocery stores.
Not true.. I am the Art Director for a Art department that makes grocery store ads.
Soda is not a common loss leader since it's DSD Pepsi/Coke keep close price controls.
I usually see produce and meat used as loss leaders..

I think a lot of the Verizon fans are missing the boat on this topic.
This is about Apple expectations for the CDMA iPhone. I would think that Apple is sophisticated enough to bake all the reasons suggested her on this board (i.e. iPhone 5 release, Android adoption, etc) into their expectations.
I'm sure the CDMA iPhone product manager isn't sitting in his office in Cupertino thinking "damn, how did I miss that the iPhone 5 would impact this launch."
AT&T is still selling the heck out of the iPhone 3GS (at a discounted price of course), so there is obviously a population out there that doesn't delay every purchase waiting for the next great thing.

It's not the name that's hindering Apple's online efforts, it's the pricing, features and reliability.
I just hope they make iDisk as good or better as DropBox. iDisk in its current iteration is just awful.

Name one arab country capable of invading Europe or the US. Maybe you just like to pretend the US is the guardian of Europe, but there is no country both willing and able to invade.

But....is there really no way to lock portrait viewing so it doesn't go into landscape mode every time you turn it? If so...boo!!

I'm sitting on 48-9k PPD right now. 950 @ 4ghz and 1750mhz on the shaders of the 460. Not too shabby.

Updated the Nvidia drivers to 266 and now the GTX 460s are both folding at 15K + each. That's an increase of 3-4k PPD each.
Guess I'll be overtaken in the next couple of days... On the other hand, I just noted that your output is less then a couple of day ago. So it will take another week before you overtake me! :p
