Just to clarify, it does chime and the light on the front does fade to off after its turned on right? If its doing all that, its most likely a bad graphics chip.

Did you get the OEM or Retail version? I'm ordering the OEM version, but I don't know if I'll be missing any screws or anything.
(I don't need the cables to clone my drive - I'm gonna migrate my data files using Time Machine.)

To intall in your MBP, the bare drive is all you need. There are four mounting nubby screws on the old drive you need to move to the new drive. Use a #6 Torx driver to remove them. Easy.

Check out the book "Beginning iPhone 4 Development". It's from Apress books. There is a full chapter on pickers (Chapter 7). Sounds like what you are looking for is exactly what is in that chapter.

Without looking at the code, the error message should tell you what's wrong. I've hilited the significant part in bold:

It's sending a showNextView message to a UIViewController instance.
Your first post said the method was in your app delegate, not a UIViewController, so check your source first. When I look at the source, I see showNextView in ForoTestViewController, not the app delegate like you said.
I also advise you to check your classes in the nib, to make sure a ForoTestViewController is being instantiated.
It's unclear how you made the non-working Xcode 4 project. If you started with the known-working project, then you probably just broke a connection or misconnected something. If you recreated it entirely from scratch, then there's no easy way of knowing what mistakes you might have made. I'm pretty sure Xcode 4 can open Xcode 3 projects, so I don't know why you'd want to start over.

It's possible that some of the newer iLife and iWork features will require Leopard.
Also possible that they might announce them all together at a later date, and perhaps even sell a bundle package that includes iLife, iWork and Leopard at a slightly reduced price. I think they might do this just to make iWork more attractive to those that don't buy it now.

The only applications that might use this are military applications. Which are most likely classified applications. But in short, no, a normal application wouldn't use it. ;)

I've been carefully monitoring the processor loads on my c2d macbook (the black one) to see what kind of processor I would be needing if I buy an air. The decision is really between the 1.86 and 2.13
My loads are:
1.03 .93. 87
These are with chrome and itunes and terminal running along with ical and the likes. nothing too heavy.
Any advice on which processor?

Why not just leave them, since they're not hurting anything by being there. I'm sure if you did enough research, you could find the purpose for each file, but why waste the time?

both those mics are condensers, yes? it looks like that m-audio interface has only a single channel that can handle condensers. is this an acoustic or electric guitar?
equipment aside, separation is the biggest challenge you'll face playing an acoustic and singing simultaneously. i think it's a great way to record a track, but just be aware that you can't really overdub one of the parts and keep the other.

Literally bought the iPad edition for �11.99 an hour before reading this post and thought I'd droppped a bollock. If they do drop the iPad-version price i'll be so annoyed.
If thta happens in a retail shop - ie buy a t shirt and the next day it's lower in price - you can return it and get the discount back.....im guessing no such luck with an app, regardless of its price

You can install Snow Leopard client from a USB stick. You can google for instructions on how to prepare a USB stick.
A clean install of Snow Leopard would be ideal unless you're moving from an old Mac and would rather not setup and configure everything again.
