Your signature says I 140 was approved, when was it approved and does that mean the USCIS website never updated the status of your I 140?
or was it showing I140 approved before and now it's showing pending?

I am working in company Vision System Group Inc (VSG INC). They are under USCIS investigation and involved in illegal activities. (Vision Systems Group Inc., was indicted in a 10-count federal indictment that included one count of conspiracy, eight counts of mail fraud, and one count of 'Notice of Forfeiture' in the amount of $7.4 million.) .

Company first delayed the payment by 6 weeks. They pay salary more then one month late (example on March 7, I get salary on period Jan 16- Jan 31). This (late payment) they are doing since last more then one year. On March 12th, 2010 they send email saying VSG and its entire sister concern companies are acquired by Zolon (Zolon Corporation) and send there HR manager's email addresses for communication with company. In other email they attached memo from zolon company's CEO that describes that they will pay March(1-15) salary on April 10 and March(16-31) on April 26 and so on. They also told that they will pay Feb(whole months) salary when ever they can. I sent many emails for Feb Salary, VSG HR ppl are saying you should ask new management for salary I (VSG HR ppl) am also now employee for Zolon. I talk to Zolon HR ppl and I told if I dont get Feb salary then I will complain DOL and file a case throgh attorney. Zolon HR ppl are saying Zolon' responsibility of paying salary is from March only.In reality VSG should have paid this salary already, we (might) pay but dont know when. You can file case and lets attorney decide. I dont care.
How should complain about salary to DOL should I complain against Zolon or VSG or both? Now there is no VSG. will I get success? Zolon might slip away by saying I acquired from March.
It is also possible Zolon and VSG owner might be relatives. and want to make money by not paying Feb salary.
Please advice.

Since you are from Russia it may be wiser to stick with EB3. I am assuming that the priority date for EB3 will be very close to current when you are ready to file for 485. EB2 of course is always current.
Filing in EB2 is riskier, since you and employer will have to prove to USCIS that 1. the employer has a requirement for a person with EB2 qualifications and 2. you have those qualifications.
If you were from heavily retrogressed countries such as India and China, then taking a risk and filing in EB2 is worth it. For India/China:
EB3 --> GC when you are ready to marry off your grand children
EB2 --> GC when you are ready to marry off your children
I have H1 visa and my company started processing my GG. They published some ads, and in August applied for the LC. It turned out that they used EB3. They said that LC would be ready by February next year. Then it will take 4 years minimum for other steps. I was very surprised that I was EB3 but not EB2.
I have couple of questions:

Why the lawyer need some information from your wife ? ( she no need to apply any thing , since your GC is approved ).
I think best way to tralk to HR dept in your wifes company and explain them. that you will get GC soon. If they need some proof show them approval email .
If they ask to fill i9 form show the EAD as proof for employment eligibility.
New company lawer is not accepting EAD, even though we don't have written approval confiramtion

Case 2:
I don't think you even qualify for applying under the case 2 as the labor has aged out. Your I140 has to be applied within 6 months of labor approval.
But as your labor was approved before this came into effect, the last date for applying is Jan 2008. You are fine there.
1. As you say it is a complicated case, Discuss if the ability to pay issues which resulted in 2 denials is worth an MTR.
2. EAD/AP based on filing of case 2 is invalid.
3. Depends on what you are working on? H1b? EAD?

Well I seem to have run into more confusion...
I've updated the firmware to 2.0 and I'm not sure if its changed the menu in the D70 or not but I was looking up the "exposure bracketing" that you suggested and on page 88 of the manual it shows (in the top image) the "Menu" opened with the (i believe its the Details tab, it has the small pencil), and then it shows the "12 BKT Set" titled at the top... followed by the Flash & Exposure settings below it... My menu doesn't show any of these... infact alot of my menu looks different than the manual since the update, which if I'm not mistaken was one of the updates within the firmware. Only now I don't know where to find what the manual shows.

Didn't you already get your GC few months back? Anyways, I will try to answer your questions with the understanding that you want to genuinely find out answers to these questions.
1- Approximate PERM processing times (from filing time) for EB2
The time it takes to file your paper work depends on the lawyer and company.
The time it takes for approval varies too between Atlanta and Chicago. Last I heard, it was around 6 months.
2- Approximate I-485 and I-140 processing times from filing date for EB2

If you are lucky, and not from China, India, Mexico & Philippines, in EB2 it could take around 3- 4 years.
If you are unlucky, or if you are from China, India, Mexico & Philippines, in EB2 it could take anywhere between 5-10 years.
So the answer is, it depends.
4- Are I-140 and I-485 still being filed concurrently?
Yes, if your priority dates for filing I-485 are current as per the current visa bulletin, which is very unlikely. Although, I-140 premium process has not yet re-started.

I believe it is worth the 180 days wait. And AC-21 is practical for a lot of situations. Anyway you dont really have to wait 180 days, if you can convince the current employer not to revoke the 140 (at least for the next 180 days).
My answer should have been different if you were not eligible to file 485.
Also give some serious thoughts about filing 485 before marriage. If you are unlucky enough, it can have serious side-effects.

If senior citizens have to travel frequently from India to the Bay area (California) what is the most preferred airlines?
Points of comparisons would be pricing (frequent flyer discounts), leg room, optimum layover, wheelchair facility, good in-flight attendance, food and so on...the experience with the emirates has been ok thus far.
emirates didn't provide the wheel chair at the airport although it was made available in india and sfo. also the leg from dubai to sfo is very long.
please share your experiences and provide your feedback.

I was listing to NPR Diane Rim show. Not sure who guests were. But When Diana asked if there is any chance that bill might come back.. He said, no bill won't come back but there is chance that some pieces of immigration may come in seperate pieces in around sep. He did say some bill might come for High skilled.. After you file your I-485, your status changes to 'Adjustment of status' or 'Adjustee'.
On this status you have 2 options to be able to work:
1) Use EAD, in that case you lose your H1-B status and if your I-485 is denied for any reason, you fall out of status immediately.
Please note that if you use EAD, you HAVE TO use AP for travel.
2) Continue using and extending your H1-B until your I-485 is approved and your status is adjusted to 'Permanent resident'.
You can switch from H1-B to EAD anytime, but there are limitations on whether you can easily switch back from EAD to H1-B.

Renewal of one of my friend got rejected on the ground of FP unavailability see my post "Biometric Issue: EAD renewal denied"
If I have never received a FP Notice from USCIS and then, they deny my EAD renewal because of this, that will be total absurd. I don't think any good immigration attorneys will let this go.
