Dont count HD out as of yet SONY has recieved 2-3 pieces of very bad news.
1. A High Court in the UK has ordered SONY to disolve its merger with BMG.
Fighting this could cost valuable resources.
If they lose, the cost of breakup could well put SONY under. Remember BETAMAX. Yes, I know SONY/BMG is the music arm of the company-but it will be a drain on the whole company.
2. The chipmakers for the PSP3 are having a bitch of a time making any that are worth using in the player-they have a 1 out of 5-6 usable chip ratio.
The rest get used in other less demanding hardware, or get tossed out-. SONY still pays for them-good or not-talk about bleeding.
They are very expensive.
3. Poor PQ reviews, the lack of BR2 (yes folks youve been had-the current discs -or BR1- are not the 'final' version, those COULD be out by November, optimistically-they were rushed out so they could say "Were first!"
They are said to be 'fine tuning' the "real" BR2 disc spec and manufacture.
Translation-it isnt working very well, like the PSP chips.

the only problem is that 50million in sales is nothing when an individual movie costs over 100million these days, but realistically, if they limit it to 5 ipods like computers, I don't see the big deal

Hey guys,
I've been searching around a few forums including this one but can't seem to find the exact information i require.
I currently have a 16bg 3gs with iOS 3.1.3 and the baseband version 05.12.01 that I jailbroke using Spirit.
I was wondering whether was any way I could update the OS to 4.1x or higher without losing the jailbrake? If so, how can I go about it? I unfortunately purchased a copy of Infinity Blade before realizing that it required 3.2.

They NEED 2 versions of iCade - one with joystick, the other with a Trackball and Knob... ;)
100% agree. I've seen some of those self contained TV video games that are basically a joystick with RCA cables coming out the back that have a combo joystick & paddle - the joystick rotating to be the paddle. Never tried it though. (I think it was the Pole Position one.)
But not being able to spin the knob on Tempest looses some of the nostalgia for me too.

Acting is hard. You only need to witness bad acting in one movie to understand this. For every A-list star, there are tens of thousands more out of work, because competition is tough and dependent on luck, too. But mostly, it comes down to supply and demand. I have no problems with actors getting 20 million a picture, they worked hard and there are only a handful of them, anyways.

What you maybe could do with GraphicConverter (I haven't used it in forever, so i'm not sure what it can do) is make your whole photo grayscale, then bring in parts of the photo (a copy, rather) in color and paste them over top...

I just don't agree. Whatever they are ? So it it was short like @sex.com or @s__t.com (fill in the underscore yourself), would they care then? I think they would. To me its all about image. Short is nice, but it should be NEUTRAL. The word 'me' does not fit the neutral part, just like 'sex' or 's__t' does not. Of course this is just opinion.
