    But as what i see now the chance of announcing on monday might not happen they will do it most probably on 3rd saying we already reached max no. of visas through this they can find a way of out to clean their hands and good support for if any cases filed. 4th holiday hence no issues and 5 th after its all gone.     What if my employer is definitely going to revoke my approved I-140 upon my resignation (past 180 days)? Do I need to file "Notice of I-140 Portability"?

    Also, in the above posts when people are saying that almost no support is needed from the new employer to keep 485 process going smoothly, is it safe to assume they are changing jobs using EAD and not doing H1B transfer?

    Guys.

    Please do not mind, my writing this - I honestly think we should stop writing insensible comments like "sick people getting frustrated" and the like...

    IV is a professional not for profit outfit, with a set agenda. We should work together towards achieving our goal, through legal, available channels.

    If things work out - great! If they don't, it's disappointing but not the end of the world.

    People who chose to stay and wait longer for their Permanent Residency will do so; those who cannot (for whatever reasons) will find other alternatives...

    Let's not make this a platform for venting out our frustrations.

    I have been resisting to get dragged into this, but I have to post! Not only are you incapable of understanding humor, but you are totally incompetent in understanding plain English.

    There is no need to let USCIS know about changing job after 180 days of 485 filing. U should have offer / empl letter from the employer when your priority date becomes current.

    Job title can be different but job duties must be similar.

    Salary difference is ok but it should not be less than what is mentioned in labor certification.

    In addition to this couple of my close friends got GC recently and they never notify USCIs about new job(AC 21).

    Yes was similar to yours. The status did change to Review. They just got it yesterday and I saw hard lud yesterday and a soft lud today. I did not know how my Attorney responded or worded it, I just sent him the EVL from current employer.

    How many days have passed snce they received your response? Was yours similar to mine. Please look at Page 1 of this thread of my detailed RFE. Did the sttus change for you to "Review"? Sorry so many questions but my attorney is sending the response overnight today and i am so nervous and anxious and scared and.... etc.

    so theres a reason behind this quota. Its not divide and rule.

    I do not think that quota system is because these countries are most populous. It is because more number of people from those countries come here. I am sure countries like Indonesia and Russia are more populous than Phillipines.
