The best plan is to use iTunes to rip the CDs. First go to preferences and set the defalt files type to "Apple lossless". Then you feed in the CDs one at a time and they go straight into iTunes get tagged and it's simple. Some times tagging fails if youhave a rare CD that is not in the database then thr must type in the info.

3. It won't work for the second star because you modify path.
path is reset at the top of the loop with the strcpy from a literal.

does anyone know how to log who downloads what from my smb shares? im on a campus network and have stuff shared (uhh, yeah, its all legal..... ;) ) and am curious to see what people are downloading. thanks

Did someone see my post regarding the minor developers? This is worthy to note as the main ones are leaving the PPC realm, while literally 1000's of smaller and minor companies, such as wondershare and others are still making universal binaries for both intel and ppc - a win win if you ask me.

Especially people who need to work with people using Office 2007/2010 for Windows, or who happen to need Adobe CS5/5.5, Final Cut Studio 3 or Logic Pro 9 or a myriad of other Professional Applications just to get stuff done. Many people bring work home, and most of the key productivity software for Mac is now intel only. It doesn't matter about small developers as they don't control the blockbuster software, and most people need at least 1 Intel Mac as they are that much more up-to-date than PowerPC models.

If you could spend time modding PHPBB to be more SEO, imagine how much better VB would be with that sime time spent optimizing it's SEO capabilities. It's ahead to begin with, the same amount (or less) of time will push it way out of PHPBB's reach.
You know I agree with you. The hardest part is convincing the client to pay for the license, but if I tell the client it will cost more optimizing phpbb for SEO than the cost of the license he may go for it.
His competition uses phpbb.
Would you rather post on a site that uses vBulletin or phpbb. I know I would prefer vBulletin but would the average user know a difference?

history will look back and focus on the day Apple got into bed with Intel as being the turning point for Apple computer sales. market share has been steadily on the rise since then.
The funny thing is that I'm one of those people that was convinced that once Apple was able to run Windows XP, I could buy a Mac. So, I bought one, loaded WinXP thru Bootcamp and the only time I use it is for my taxes.
I thought I'd need office, but it wasn't long before I just bought a copy of OfficeMac 2004 and I've never looked back. I haven't booted into XP since last Oct 15th. Go figger.
It's funny how that works. It's a safety net... you won't do something till you have it, but it turns out you don't really need it.

Thanks for the replies! I just found it odd for their to be ads in the background like that, which are only visible for a micro-second. I would also never pirate an iOS app and was simply curious if those ads went away after purchasing as they were kind of annoying.
It seems weird that the trial version contains advertisements. I would think the trial would be the same as the full version. Anyway, did you get it to work with FaceTime on 4.3.2? I haven't been able to get it to work since updating, and was wondering if I was alone with this problem.

The iPod touch bluetooth only works for headphones. There's no profile for anything else...
The blurb for the iTouch iOS4 upgrade blurb (http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/ios4-software-update.html) indicates that bluetooth functionality has been extended to include keyboards. Unfortunately, I have tested this on a 2gen itouch using two non apple keyboards that worked with an ipad, but they did not "discover" although there was indication that a dialog had transpired.
Very disappointing... anyone know anything more about what the ios4 brings to the BT table and if the 2gen is even included?
fwiw, I _was_ able to pair BT stereo headsets to the 2gen under os3 but it appears that the upgrade to 4 may have disabled even that option.

don't know about iphoto, but no merge in aperture, or LR for that matter. you could perhaps use a publish setting such as book layout options to get the effect you want, but sounds like a better task for photoshop. if you want something free, photoshop elements.

TS you are looking at around $400 for a used I4 or $599-$699 for new or about the same after ETF and monthly plus you carrier plan. this is why most in your situation a dumb phone and a touch is the best route.

Like I said, unfortunately it may not be isolated to DP2 ... which is more annoying since that means it's probably an iTunes/iOS bug :(
