Hi
Can anyone help me why black color on the screen looks like shining and its difficult te see any photo or something like that(its like when you see from a corner on the normal screen).But when I see from a different angle it looks really good... so im having the problem only when I see from a normal view... this problem starts when I change a new lcd screen.
If someone knows what to do I really appreciate that ...

This is simply not accurate I'm afraid.
The 27" ACD works absolutely fine with the Apple OEM 5770 upgrade card with MDP, also with the 5870. After all, why would Apple sell these graphic cards if they didn't work with their only display? Further, my 5870 and 27" ACD get along like a house on fire. Note that you have to buy the Apple cards, not just a standard PC card like you seem to be implying
The first generation of ATI 5-series cards for PC didn't actually didn't follow the DisplayPort port specifications properly, and do have compatability issues with Apple products. That being said, your absolutely right peskaa, the issues were fixed with Apple OEM cards (but ppl who want to throw in any PC card just beware the 5- series cards are hit and miss on compatibility).

I think im just going to borrow a snow leopard disk from a friend and install it that way. Just curious though, when I had my own copy in my disk drive my windows pc wouldnt recognize it, how am I supposed to install boot camp off it?
Was it an original disk or a burned copy? As per the thread I linked the drivers are in their own session on the disc and if you don't explicitly copy it you ain't got it.

Would it be possible to use a cookie to remember my choice of ordering my song list? i.e. if I choose to order by Genre, then the next time I view my list, it should remember to order the songs by Genre, and not the default Ranking.

I can't comment on the HD650 with a macbook pro personally, as I do not exactly have one. Of the few times I've tried it out, it was at a friend's and at local music stores. I'm an audio technica kind of guy, so I tend to stick to their products. I know the lower impedance audio techncia cans sound pretty good on my brother's macbook pro and my iMac via their intel hd integrated card and headphone jack.

I like multi-computer setup. I've got a dual boot (Linux, WinXP) desktop for internet (linux), ripping videos and various minor tasks, and games (XP). The MacBook does photo editing. Lots of times, I'm using both computers at the same time.

The recruitment seminar is really relaxed and you will get through it as long as you be yourself, engage with the recruiters and other people there and ask plenty of questions at the end regarding the job. Don't come over too much as a hardcore Apple fanboy but talk about how much you can't put down your iPhone/iPod. During the group exercises, make sure you try and come over as a good leader but good team player at the same time - make sure that your ideas are part of the main focus but be sure to agree with ideas that you wish you though of. Otherwise, just enjoy it as it's really relaxed and you will spend most of the two and a half hours watching a presentation, videos and doing some group exercises. They get through hundreds of CV's at a time and to get the chance to be considered is a good achievement. Just out of interest, what store are you thinking of joining and what position are you after?

Right, I am asking for a bit of help from you guys (and gals) my parents are moving to France soon, and currently they're using my year old iBook and my brother's PC, they want their own laptop, and they keep putting off buying one, they both like my iBook, but won't get one for themselves due to the price :o I thought I'd surprise them and buy them one for Christmas, I just need a hand finding what I'd need.
I don't particularly want to buy them a new one as I have very little money myself, so I thought I'd go for a G3 iBook or something, here is essentially what they'd be using it for, and what they'd need:
Transferring & viewing photos from DigiCam (USB 2.0)
Browsing the internet & e-mail (Airport)
Word Processing
Music storage (20GB+ HD)
Watching DVDs (Combo Drive)
Something thhat could run at least OS 10.3.9
Could someone give me some idea of a particular model and how much it would go for (on here or ebay).
Any help is very much appreciated.

What improvements do you think it needs? Better zoom/flash? I guess it is a phone first and a camera second so it will never really be able to out-do a standard digital camera
