I do--since the G3 days! And it wouldn't be right for me to defect since they've been very helpful. But I support all Mac teams :) (And PC teams too, if they just HAVE to help :) )

Some old systems like the NES had a composite cable right on the console itself. You'll have to get one of those odd looking RF-out leads to Scart and god knows how hard they are to find now. Since I got my Wii (Virtual Console) I've boxed up my Mega Drive. FWIW my Bravia and Samsung TV's dont run classic consoles too well. 16bit and under tend to have distorted images.

Well, if I'd been there I would have made a citizen's arrest, then shot them with my glock then sic'd my rottweiler on 'em....

Hi, bought an 13" white macbook today off a friend for cheap. I knew it had issues and he said it stuck on loading. Which it does.
After reading around it appears it a common problem, but i cant get to the bottom of it.
It shows the login bit where it has the loading bar, then goes to a blue page with curser and then back to spinning wheel.
I have tried the fsck and PRAM stuff.
Just tried botting in verbose mode but it just has one line which is showing it: Login Window Application Started.
Its been like that for 10 minutes or so.
I do not have the install disks but will try and get them if he has them.
Any help?

hey there,
anyone playing the latest C&C on a mac pro? i'm planning to buy a mp in a few weeks and then C&C. just wondered if it's a great game and how it runs on a mp? I imagine it runs well. i have but little time for gaming, but i'm a madden footballer and want this new C&C.

When I first tried to run F@H using the (new at the time) SMP client, I kept running into issues where near-complete work units would fail. This was about two years back, and the program was officially in beta at the time. From what I could tell, the failures resulted from a dropped network connection -- at least, all the symptoms that others were describing were happening to me.
Can anyone tell me is this issue sounds familiar, and whether it was resolved? Thanks!i had lots of problems with halfway completed units even with 6.24 but 6.24.1, the newest version, seems to have fixed the issue on all my folders. please give it a try again

i''m still using 10.2.8, when i copy the itms link, 2/3 times it comes up as invalid on daily tunes. if i re-copy and paste a few times it works. is this a related safari issue, or are other daily tunes users having this problem, too?

How do i get rid of the lock icon in the statusbar lockscreen
When i select to show the time in the statusbar the lock icon is still there next to the time
I remember in ios 3 the lock icon was not there when i selected to show time

You should use <a id="top></a> for that anchor. While "name" is still part of the spec, later versions of XHTML will be getting rid of the "name" attribute. I'm unsure why it doesn't work in Safari (perhaps a conflict with another id?) but try using "id" and see if that works.

I have a mac pro desktop that has recently stopped working. I can turn it on, the white apple logo will appear, it will begin loading the OS, but when the loading is complete and I should see the login screen, the screen just goes black. I have tried everything;
- swap out memory with known working sticks
- PRAM reset
- SMC reset
- Graphics card swap
- Pulled all hard drives
- tried loading boot disk (load then blank screen)
- etc etc
If there is no boot drive, the usual question mark folder will appear, I can boot in verbose, but no errors or warnings appear, i can boot into single user mode, and browse directories, but no OS will load!
Anyone seen this before? and can possibly help?

Since I have an iPad 2, I just used my HDMI Digital AV Adapter on my iPhone 4 with DisplayOut. It works fine. You can find HDMI Cables for like $6 online. I recommend getting the Digital AV Adapter that Apple sells because it has a 30 pin port on the adapter so you can charge your iPhone while the adapter is plugged into your iPhone.
I was hoping there would be some cheaper alternatives, but it's whatever. I just bought the Apple AV adapter for $30 on eBay. Does it do audio too?
