Love it. May I suggest having the llama go in an arc instead of going straight across.

You have to turn data off to avoid any data flow between the iPhone and the network.

The Ivy Bridge CPUs will very likely be in the next generation iMacs, if that's what you meant. They certainly won't have 3D screens.
yes that's what i mean.
and why not 3d screens ?

An alternate method would be CCC'ing to your backup drive, then hooking the drive up to the new Mac and using Migration Assistant (either on first boot or afterwards). Hooking up the drive or the old Mac should yield identical results. Just make sure that the new Mini doesn't have an account with the same username you're trying to transfer... Migration Assistant will protest.
You're correct in that the current Minis will not run 10.5.

RIP Sparky.
I'm too young to remember the Big Red Machine, but I have fond memories of growing up watching Sparky's Tigers play my Yanks.
A sad day for baseball, indeed.

I'll either be heading here, Burlington or somewhere in Boston, depending on where I am/what I'm doing that night.

I'm in the exact same situation. I just want to so I can have the newest cool thing. There, I said it! :D
But seriously, If I end up not being able to snag an iPhone on launch day, then I want the new os until I can get one.

Hello all,
I've noticed yesterday that my macbook doesn't go to sleep according the schedule I set under System Preferences>Energy. The screen switches off just fine, the computer just doesn't go to sleep.
When I close the lid, everything works just fine.
Extra info: I'm running 10.6.7 on a late 2009 macbook pro. I've already tried repairing permissions, purging caches, booting into safe mode and quitting all applications except Finder. Nothing in the console seems to be resetting the sleep timer, but I just can't get my macbook to go to sleep on its own.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Hello, hope someone can shed some light on this problem, think its terminal though.
I was using my macbook (2007 mid) and was all fine, i went back a couple of days later, took it out of my bag and booted it up to find a large black area on the screen to the right with a large white square under it. The whole of this area is dead, the rest of the screen is fine. How has this happened whilst in the bag, looks to me like a right hand thumb my be the culprit but i would never hold my mac like this.
Any help would be great.
Cheers

I just talked to the people at southgate. I was told the store will open at 10:00am like usual but that they won't start selling the ipad until 5pm. They also said there is a limit of 2 per customer and they don't know which configurations they will have. I'm like you - I don't want to be hanging around forever but it looks like not only will people have to arrive hours early to get a spot in line but they will have to wait until 5:00pm just to buy it. Yikes.

Thanks, for the quick reply. If I do that though - on say my 13" MBP and get it so it appears correctly and then load the page on a screen with a different resolution they'll be in the wrong place and vice versa...
Hope that makes sense.

I DL'd "iPhone3,1_4.3.2_8H7.bundle" and put it in the Contents/Resources/FirmwareBundles/ directory in the Pwnage Tool package.
I DL'd the file "iPod3,1_4.3.2_8H7_Restore.ipsw" and placed on my desktop, but Pwnage Tool keeps giving the "Wrong firmware bundle selected" error.
The problem is bolded above.

Mac2sell isn't always accurate. The 1.83C2D pops up as a refurb for less than that. PM sent.

Without the power button, you'll have to erase the settings to clear your phone. Or restore in iTunes.
Your phone must be functional to enter DFU.

The main page does look a lot better w/o the links being underlined. Keep up the good work Arn.
