I have liked Madona from day one - I am old enough to have her first Album on vinyl!
Celebration is a good song, but I think the video is mediocre at best. She has done much better videos. A bit of a let down given the hype she is creating with the release of her 'ultimate' collection later in hte month

You can't put Graphics as a subcategory of Apple Software. It should be a top-level category like Networking. There should be subcategories:
Graphics Hardware
Graphics Software

The version comes with Mac Mini Server is most likely for that computer only.
Any included copy of OS X only works with the model it came with. However, I think you can use the OS X server key on different hardware, you just need the retail disks.

Why not play them the iWork Tour that came with Keynote 2 on the iWork disc. It is a good demo of keynotes features and is a very good example of a Keynote presentation.

So I just got a new macbook air and transfered over my music and apps from Time Machine. The problem I have now is that on my iphone I purchased some apps and music which aren't on the air. But to sync it says I have to erase the iphone. How the heck do I get my music and apps over without it erasing the new apps and music I bought?
well for the music there are many programs out there. (senuti I think) But for the apps you are going to have download those on your new air. If you want to keep all app settings I think there is a way to use an earlier backup but I don't remember how to do that.

Hi,
I have a white Macbook from a few years back - the A1181 (http://www.ifixit.com/Info/ID-your-Mac/406) according to iFixit and want to upgrade the hard drive to accomodate more space.
I'm quite happy fitting it and cloning my old drive but want to make sure i order a compatible drive. I've been looking at this
http://www.dabs.com/products/western-digital-320gb-scorpioblue-sata-300-5400rpm-8mb-6MG2.html?q=320gb%20SATA%202.5%205400
Can anyone tell me if it'll work in my macbook?
Thanks
Mark

Sorry to interrupt, but Marble Blast gold is a really really fun game.
Oh, and have you tried just a erase and install of your OS? That's quite simple (takes time, but it's simple) and usually fixes a lot of problems.

File sharing over Ethernet should work.
Other options would be to use a PC Card (Cardbus) USB or FireWire adapter and an intermediate external HD to transfer the files.
Edit: just thought of another option: remove the HD and use an external IDE to USB case (or cable adapter, IDE to USB). Then you can just use it as you would any other external USB drive.

I hate, I mean HATE these phillips #00 and #000 screws. When I swapped the ram on my late 2008 alum macbook I stripped one of the screws (using the correct phillips #00 or #000, I forget which) getting them out. I had to go to the apple store where they were able to get the stripped screw out. They also had to order replacements (that they graciously gave and mailed me for free despite being out of warranty). When I was setting the last screw, when I had maybe one turn left, it stripped again, but the access door closed thankfully.
Fast forward a year later - now - and I am again having the same problem getting the screw out that holds the hard drive in. I am swapping my 250gb for a 500gb WD Black. My question is not so much how to get the stripped screw out - I have already made a genius appointment - but how in the HECK do you get these things out before they strip? What am I doing wrong? I consider myself pretty handy but the 00 and 000 just seem to be hard as can be to get out.
I tend to prefer craftsman tools, though the screw driver I am using is the "Husky" brand which I got from lowes or home depot. Could it be the quality of the tool? Though the driver head is not deforming, the screw is. What gives!!

1.) It's fine to leave it plugged when not in use. I do this all the time.
2.) I have Lightroom 3 installed. It will run just fine. But 64 GB is awfully small for any photos. It will work though. I'd recommend hiding the dock and running Lightroom in full screen mode because of the screen size.

My on button rattles a bit. I just got this as a warranty replacement several days ago. I would not worry about it.
So it seems its just a characteristic of the phone. Fair enough. I hope my battery life increases! 48% by 11am! :(

Can't you just use iTunes to do this? Change preferences to use Ogg for importing music, then select everything and convert to Ogg. Or doesn't that work?
Alas, iTunes doesn't detect the Ogg plugin and won't give Ogg as an option. The method posted above, however, should work. I will give that a try.

I just bought a VGA cable for my 360 so my Wii can finally take it's permanent place using my sole component port on my lil LCD TV.
But I havea few little issues with it. My TV's actual resolution is 1440 x 900 so I figured that the 360 wouldn't offer that in it's resolution so I have it set as 1280 x 720. It works pretty decently. When I watch dvd's that are in 4:3 (like The Simpsons) it has the black bars on the side. I have to manually tell it to stretch it each time I click on an episode in which is a pain in the ass. It never used to do this with component. Any way around this?
Plus the colour quality is a little worse off. It looks a lot whiter I guess, kinda washed out a bit. I played with the colours and got it looking pretty close to how I had it with the component but it's just not quite there.
Any advice on how to make it look it's best? I haven't tried it with games yet, just with a few demo's I have on the system.
Get a TV calibration DVD and run through it to calibrate your TV's VGA input. Should get your color issues fixed. No clue about the black bars, except maybe chose a widescreen resolution on the 360 and let the TV scale that instead.

Hi all...
After googleing/youtube'ing Garageband tutorials i found im overwhelmed with tutorials.
I know alot about music but little about garageband (only had a mac for a week!)
Can anyone recamend a good website for lessons, tips/tricks and general all round goodness?
I have iLife09 + Rythem jampack and done a few basic recordings (played guitar/bass over a drum loop i found)
If it helps its mainly indie rock that ill be recording, main thing i need to know is how to program drums and if there is any decent add-ons i should consider for this? all other instruments ill be recording.
Cheers :)

don't worry about the custom option, simply type in the width and height you want for your new document, the app will then realise that this is a custom size.
