you will need to get an airport extreme, which has one WAN and three LAN ports, to do what you want.

Hah... sorry guys. 1.0 GHZ. Combo drive. no box, i think I can find the discs, no manuals.
For what it's worth, it's been used by one owner, and I've personally taken care of the machine whenever it's needed anything.

After a lot of debating here and there about what to buy, i have settled on the MBP 13" i5. I will be upgrading to 8 GB RAM, with a 60 GB SSD in the optibay later on, but first i need to set up my set up.:D
I really want to invest in an external monitor to set up at home, to hook the MBP up to. I want a Dell monitor, for they seem pretty good bang for buck. But i simply cant pick one. I would like anything from 18"-24", from the 120-240 USD price range, but heres the catch, i also really want a USB port, prefferably on the back, not sticking out from the side.
The monitor will be used for all the everyday stuff from time to time, but mainly for photoshop. Im only a student and this is all my money, so im not looking to get a super high quality, extremely high resolution monitor, that the pros use, just a nice little screen i can hook my MBP to. So if anybody has any experiences, preferences, or advice about monitors, please post.
Id also be getting the mStand, beautiful thing, along with great ergonomics, which means id be in need of an external keyboard and mouse. I was thinking magic trackpad? Is it any good for photoshop, otherwise i already have a wireless logitech mouse that i love, or a wired dell mouse, so i dont need the magic trackpad. And for keyboards, again, does anybody have any suggestions?

and it says it has a minidisplay port. does that mean there are mindisplay port to minidisplay port cables? If so, are they and better than VGA? as in is the quality higher, or smoother, or thers no difference?

I've been looking for a rugged-looking, military-style case. I ran across this case, the Magpul iPhone Executive Field Case, which seems very decently priced:

If you search, there are reviews on the Magpul case. The Magpul case is more of a basic case that will not keep out sand and grit from your phone. You're looking more for an OtterBox Defender or Griffin Survivor; those cases are made to protect your phone from the environment.

I use my rooted evo 4g to use mobile hotspot, i can use 4g over wifi on the jailbroken iPad no problems, i am using cyanogen nightly #14

Seems like it's just invisible updates (ie. behind the scenes bugfixes). I don't see any new features.

How much data do you have? Apple offers up to 750GB drive in MBP but from aftermarket, you can get up to 1.75TB (1TB+750GB) in the MBP. In the end, this boils down to do you need the portability or not. You already have an iPad so do you think you would be carrying the MBP with you?
For your usage, MBP is fine, as long as you go with a 15" or 17".

hinges are something you don't tighten yourself. RAM, hard drive anyone can do on a macbook. Hinges are a different beast altogether

I came on to here asking for that too. I already have a regular tripod for digi-point&shoot camera and works for the hand held camcorders - screw in on the bottom. So maybe if there's an ipod dock that uses a normal mini tripod dock screw that'd be really cool.

hey everyone,
I was wondering how to make a table view that would have like 5 rows in it, that is no problem to do i know, but i was wondering how i could make so each cell in the table view would need a different password to get into it.
I am asking my girlfriend to prom, so i am making a scavenger hunt thing for her based of my iphone..
any idea how to make the password thing happen?
From the sounds of it, security really isn't an issue. On that note create a NSArray, add 5 NSString (these will hold your passwords) into the array. Make sure they are in the same order of your UITableView rows. You can then compare by the returned row.

Ask him to place a piece of cardboard over the hole mounting pattern and punch holes from the opposite side of the rim through the center of the mounting holes. Then match it up to your rim.

I know it is not a dell, but I just got a good deal on a 20 in apple cinema display, & it has 2 usb ports & a firewire 400 port on the back, I got it from ebay, you can get one for alot less than what apple would charge, just have to be careful about seller ratings & look closely at descriptions, & it is a good quality panel.
Also check amazon at Acer monitors; http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=acer+LCD+monitor&x=15&y=14
you could also look at amazon for Dell monitors while you are there.

Are you seriously concerned about that? How about them robbing us from years? They have made more than enough mate. Don't know how US people perceives their carriers but in Canada most of us are fed up from the big 3.
