Congratulations!
I'm sure you'll be more than pleased with that machine.
I completely understand about the mouse. When I was getting my blue and white G3, I picked up a three button scroll mouse because I wasn't going to use the puck mouse.
I agree with you on WinXP. I used it and it is worthy of attention but unfortunately, it takes too much attention. It always seems to be helping you by making decisions that you may not want. Mac OS X, while not anywhere near complete, is just there to do whatever you need done.

Is that English, what are you trying to ask?
I was curious about this as well. He is asking what do those of you in line do when you have to go to the bathroom? Especially those in line by themselves?
Thank you. I chose the style of writing to fit the subject character limit. I guess there are a lot of miserable people on this forum to find fault with it. To those that do, may I suggest u get a life i.e. one that revolves around being happy and not taking your misery out on others :)

It appears to power the device plugged in, but it doesn't get recognized.
Check your Apple System Profiler and see what it lists as USB ports/devices.

I got that when testing a cheap cordless mouse the other day. Our PC in the office wasn't picking up a signal when the receiver was plugged in, but our eMac was, (both are merely for testing purposes). Whenever I moved the mouse, the cursor moved. Great. Whenever I left or right clicked, it moved the cursor into the top corner. So I tried it back on the PC again and it started to work, with both buttons fine too.
Odd.

don't worry about the custom option, simply type in the width and height you want for your new document, the app will then realise that this is a custom size.

I'm running wow on a current macbook and it was running great until the 10.6.7 patch came out. I'd say if you could run it using 10.6.6 you should see about 30fps at the good to better setting. make sure your running 4 gigs and not the stock 2 though.

Does the M R stand for MacRumors? Not sure what the E 6 means? The picture looks like the Quicktime icon over a AirPort Base Station.Since my MRE6 avatar is to celebrate the million post milestone, I made it a contest entry: thread
You seem to be a kidder with Mudbug. He should feel privileged that you took the time and effort to do a word play on him.Yes of course I'm teasing Mudbug. I only tease people I like. I expect Mudbug to make fun of me too.
Obviously, Mudbug can't have posted 1,000,000 spams. He only has 2,000 or so posts! ;)

Does anyone have available a 16GB new iPhone? what price would you be willing to sell for? Im just considering my options with the old iPhone, and the new one!
Thanks
Edit: I am after the original iPhone. I want to compare the price of an original 16gb iPhone to the 3G iPhone I will be able to buy soon. If anyone has an original for a good price, I will buy.

can't be arsed is a pretty common saying over here and simply means cannot be bothered. Invariably there are more sayings to describe apathy and laziness because they seem to come to us more readily!

So my MacBook 1,1 is having problems with Wifi dropping and sometimes it can't link to a hotspot. This is an intermittent issue. Is this an issue with the MacBooks airport? And how difficult would it be to replace?

Hmm. Although this is for setting up with a wireless MM and/or keyboard, see if this helps. Good luck and keep us posted.
While you are in Windows.
1) Switch off the device you want to pair
2) Select "add a device" in the Bluetooth menu
3) Switch on the device (after few second it should get detected by windows)
4) Now, right click on the device and select properties. You should now get a window with the different services.
5) select the HID drivers for keyboard and mice and click OK (this is the important part)
6a) In windows 7 it should setup mouse and keyboard without any additional input.
I found that cure posted by S_ Eye at http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2057008&start=0&tstart=0

I just loaded XP on my mac laptop, without bootcamp. Most everything seems fine so far except I can't create any wireless network. And there are several devices under device manager that are in error. Is this the reason for running bootcamp? Also, do I need to install bootcamp and then re-install xp, or can I load bootcamp without reloading XP? (I assume the prior).
Thanks,
Clayton
