It obviously isn't officially supported, but it works just the same.
Your first time loading an app onto the phone may be confusing to get all the certificates and profiles right, but that isn't a Jailbreak issue.

This is absolutely amazing. This could easily be frontpage news for more people to see. It would be great if more app devs got involved with this.

Hi
What I am trying to do is, When user clicks Login button there should be a window (Panel) comes out till the user respond to that Panel he/she should not be allowed to access other part of application.
But when ever I add panel to NIB the action target always goes to parent window's ".m" file not Panel's class. Can you please explain me how to direct the control to Panel's class rather parent's.
Thanks
Siva

I have Mac OS X server 10.6.3 and I want to be able for different users to login simultaneously and use XCode each in their own windows session.
Any ideas how to do that?

My only prior Apple experience was in grade school with the ][e (those were the days :p ), gotta love that green text and The Oregon Trail was one of the best computer games ever. I used DOS at home(ok, I didnt "use" it I just cd to a game directory) and then Windows when it became decent(95). I switched to Linux on my x86 box and only used Windows for certain games. Never much liked Windows, nothing exciting. I love Linux though and the whole unix philosophy.
I needed a laptop recently and decided to go with a Powerbook 1ghz for the form factor, design, and to give OSX a whirl, I always admired OSX since it was first shown to the public and the fact that its unix-like was the nail in the x86 coffin for laptop choice.
Needless to say my experience has been positive, from unpacking the box to firing up the OS. It gives me the best of Linux(unix stuff) and the best of Windows(games, office, photochop, audio applications).
Ive used everything under the sun and I must say that OSX is the best looking desktop environment by far and the graphics acceleration is icing on the cake.
The only negative has been lack of configurability, Linux absolutely rules here. Still though I guess that can be a plus too as it keeps things simple and clean.
On a scale of 1-10 I give my Mac a 9.9 :)

This evening, exactly the same thing happened to my iP90 iHome. It still charges the iPod, but otherwise appears dead.

I'm looking for an inexpensive recent iPod of a large capacity, mostly to use in my iPod speaker dock, so I don't really care if there are scratches on it or the battery life isn't good. And all I need is the iPod itself, any other accessories aren't really necessary.
Please post or PM offers. I would also be interested in a trade of some sorts for an iPod (I have an LCD, Ext. HD, and Ray-Bans that I'm looking to part with.) Thanks.

All,
I recently started to teach myself how to develop iOS applications and recognized that once I am able to write my own apps, I'm not sure how I'll be able to add nice graphics, sounds etc., since that is not my area of expertise.
So I made this site...
http://www.iosdevexchange.com
...to help iOS developers connect with graphic/sound/video experts and vice versa.
In my mind it'll be people posting freelance type ads that they are (for example) a graphic designer and looking for apps to make logos for, or a developer looking for a sound expert to help them create great sound effects/music for their app.
What do you all think? Useful? Any thoughts on how to drum up interest or features to add/remove?
Thanks for your input!

only apple online refurbs have a real 1 year warranty that can be extended to 3 years with apple care. you can search for refurbs from other sellers but they have warranties for no more then 90 days with no apple care option.

Sharp unveils glass-based CPU prototype
[digitimes.com] 11:07
Sharp on October 22 unveiled a prototype of an 8-bit, 2.5MHz, glass-based central processing unit (CPU). Jointly working with Semiconductor Energy Laboratory (SEL), the company has successfully formed microprocessor circuitry on glass 15mm square and 1mm thick by employing its continuous grain silicon (CGS) technology.
Sharp hopes its invention will pave the way to development of ultra-thin sheet computers and TVs. The company expects to have some products, like games machines or mobile phones, equipped with this type of glass-based CPU, available by 2005.
Sharp currently uses CGS technology to produce system LCDs, LCD panels with built-in driver IC circuits.Shih-wei Kao
