These are documents which have to be carried. There is no confirmation that he/she wil be asked but if asked they have the documents on hand. I got stuck in immigration for 4 hours when they asked me all the above documents. So i believe in better safe than sorry

Will I be breaking any laws if I just do voluntary marketing and promotional work for my company in India.

here is another questions I need to ask, if anyone can plz get them answered it will be great.
1. There was I-94 attached which was also lost. Recently, we transferred H-4 to iGate, so Uscis sent i-94 with approval notice, would that work or we need to get apply form 102 for replacement? Also, is there a way to notify uscis that i-94 is lost and will reapply once we get to ?
It's important to keep the arrival i-94 document. You can use the following document to get the I-94 from Department of Homeland Security.

My wife collected her's from VFS but they do not give it out the same day either at the consulate or the VFS. The earliest I guess is 3 PM the next day that you can collect it.

The FAQ is saying Labor should be approved by the time you file for 140. Attaching any piece of evidence along with your 140 application that your labor has been approved should suffice.

The reason for my infopass is its been more than 90 days since I filed for EAD. There is one option specifically for this scenario. When I selected this option I am getting "No appointments available" message for the past one month.
May I know what is the reason for your infopass?. Is your infopass is due to the delay in EAD renewal process?

I have not done that. I do have EAd and AP so dont know if i will do it. But prior to this when i got promoted earlier i have not applied for an admendment.

I guess if you use EAD and not inform USCIS about the promotion and reply to AC21 RFE (if at it comes asking for employment letter and job duties), you should be fine replying it.
However, if you use H1B, then your AC21 RFE comes and you submit a profile that is different than that of H1B, then USCIS can question that discrepancy.
I am not sure they will do that ... but just a suggestion .. I might be wrong ..

I got an email from my lawyer who indicates the RFE is related to my medical missing from the 483 package we sent. I am pretty positive we sent it, but seems like USCIS has some way to firing a RFE.
Anyway, my lawyer is asking me that getting a new medical done would be better as that is quick and more pratical. Don't know if that might be true.
Any ideas for those who got RFE for medical?

I went through the same ordeal about a year and a half ago. After unsuccessful attempts to buy it on my own through internet companies, I went to a good agent who got me a 20 year term life policy with a AAA rated company for about $220/year for a 500,000 coverage. Basically, I got the same rate an US citizen would get. I would advise you to go through an agent, they can do multiple quote and many are knowledgeable about H1 visas and the best thing is you don't pay any thing extra because the agents get their commission from the insurance companies. Hope this helps

Yeah.. I was going for that sort of effect (being a big fan of "Indiana Jones" movies, and "Big trouble in Little China"; and having more than a passing interest in Egyptology). She need to have AP in hand before leaving the country. I would suggest to take an INFOPASS and go the local office tell them the situation, they should be able to give you the AP there.

My employer pays all uscis fees for me, for my spouse I pay(745$) . Employer pays lawyer fees, not sure if lawyer will ask for spouse fees later. I pay for medical and tests(not yet got bill for that)

Just resolve their issues so you will see most of them opening new businesses, buy houses - this will trigger high financial activity and will improve the economy automatically. Unemployment will be a thing of the past.
With all due respect, this is a bit of a self-serving exaggeration don't you think? Unemployment will be a thing of the past if they give all of us greencards? I trust many will buy properties and start businesses but enough to fix unemployment entirely??? Trust me I want my GC as badly as the next guy in line. But if we start warping facts and reality to make claims and statements in benefit of our own interests, and even worse if we actually BELIEVE in them, we'd no longer be fundamentally different from those gun clinching, Jesus loving, Obama hating rednecks of this country. We are far better educated than those average Joes and let's try to think, talk and act like it.

a) Ability to pay
b) Your education
c) Your past experience, if shown
Now out of this, only ability to pay is, where you would need comaniy's help. Rest two, you have all the documents. If the company is a big one, then I dont think they would refuse you documents. I would be surprized that they issue RFE for ability to pay for a public company.
I do not know anyone who switched before I-140 approval but given Yates memo I dont think its difficult.
In my case, I work for a big public company. My education is from the US. My attorney ensured that we only claim the experience for which I have experience letter. The game I think is to minimize the risk.

My lawyer sent me the fedex tracking sheet for the I-485 package sent to:

850 S Street
Lincoln, NE 68508
I did not see any PO Box on the Fedex tracking sheet. I am not sure if she put the PO Box on the shipping label or not??
Is it a big deal?? Will my application be accepted.
