Are you sure that it needs to be done on stamp paper? I just notarized them from India on plain paper.

All you need is Affidavits from you Father, Mother and any other close relative. Ask them to go to your local court house. There will be people sitting there who do prepare affidavits and notarize them. They need to do it on 10 Rupees stamp paper and get it notarized. They shall have the date of birth affidavit template at court house.
Once they have them, ask them to scan and send them to you to save time. Also ask them to DHL the originals so that you could recieve in 2 or 3days.

I think during the time of economic recession, USCIS is trying to help survive the immigration lawyers,. At present there are less cases of new H1B as the quote is still open. My lawyer sends me some past invoices in between. LOL

This is a hard call. I would probably wait for the EAD before deciding which one to cancel. you might be canceling one that is about to send you your EAD. It is risky.

I am planning to shift employers and I have a question:
Company A applied for my green card and I have an approved I-140, passed the 6 month mark and now planning to shift jobs on EAD. I have an offer from Company B with a condition that my offer would be permanent upon approval of my green card. I cannot work for company B till I physically have my GC. In the mean time can I work for Company C ( in a completely different field) till my GC gets approved without any issues?
I am sorry, I don't have answer for your question, but the AC21 cases getting denial will certainly effect you as you are planning to use AC21.
Please get the IV action item done whenever you get a chance. This won't take more then 5-10 minutes of your time. Thank you.

My employer applied for my H1B renewal very close to the expiration of my first H1B and I was told today that they got back the application becuase they made a mistake on the check. unfortunalty, they got back the application after my first H1B expired. They sent back the application with the right check and we have not heard anything yet. Am I ok or am I in a big trouble? Please, help! Thank you all.

1. AC21 - get it all done with new company ? Job title from Sr.Qa to SAP BI would it be a problem?
If any RFE comes, new company should be able to support as per job description/title in Labor which they won't I believe.
2. Temporary resignation and rejoining - is it really feasible?
I don't think you need to resign something in particular.
You can work with SAP company and when your date is becoming current move to QA Company and you should be good. Its like filing AC-21 to SAP company and again filing AC-21 to QA Company.
I know lot of people do this who are working on EAD. Generally you know your date will be current in next year. So you can work for SAP untill June/july-2011 and then move back to QA Company before date becomes current.
3. Stay with current company - try for contract positions even if it means that I have to stay long on bench. I have been already out since Aug.
Your choice and lets wait for some Guru's answers.
