I typed "crappy mac" into Bing and Apple's store was a sponsored result. :apple:
I clicked it so Apple could pay Microsoft for the click.

I disagree Zarathustra, the Prismo looks like a basic looking laptop to me. The powerbook Ti has a very distinctive look and the images show very clearly* that its a powerbook ti

you should try wordpress + flickr.
both are free, and once set up, you can snap pix on your cell phone and send them to a special email address that will automatically post them to your wordpress blog.
easy, breezy, beautiful.

Keynote and Pages are really coming along nicely, especially Pages IMO. Nice to see these updates, especially to acknowledge the recent Aperture update. Other features/updates would have been nice as well, but not a big deal...

I think a blue or pink one would be great!! Maybe Apple will have a "rainbow" collection of colors? That would be so much fun!!

You could certainly make an application that is mostly HTML5/Javascript, that was the way that Apple originally intended for the iPhone 1. For webapps hosted externally you don't even need Xcode or a Developer license, but you can wrap a webapp into a "regular" app and then you would.

A certain company is trying to shift product udpates away from major Expos. They've found that the lack of orders directly preceding an expo, as well as the expo dates not agreeing with major edu buying schedules have made this a bad idea.
You can expect to see new software releases at all Apple expos, and sometimes product introductions, but I think that will be it in the future.
This allows for a more consistent sales pattern, and keeps you guessing as to when updates arrive.

Bose makes the best speakers for computers
no highs? no lows? go with bose...
I gotta disagree with you, man.

i went to the store and checked out these speakers, and although they aren't *quite* as good as the klipsch's they come real damn close, and look damn nice too. I'm surprised nobody suggested them..

BBB ratings are no longer very reliable. You can get rid of a bad rating by buying advertising from BBB. I never trust a BBB rating anymore.
Yeah, BBB has gotten so bad that I get suspicious of any retailer that brags about their BBB rating. The bigger the BBB logo is on a retailers website, the more problems you're going to have.

Why not just make a website ? What you describe sounds like it would be more appropriate as a good old website that is device agnostic than a native app anyhow.
A lot of apps on the App Store right now are mostly things people could have just put up on the web.

Haha luckily for you (and I as well) they do, for free, with no questions asked. This is widely known that the polycarbonate Macs crack around the area near the bottom of the screen (plastic) and at the palm rest around the corners.
Just call ahead, make sure they have the part in stock (tell them that it's cracked and ask if they can fix it in house) and if so, head over there, drop it off, find something to do, and come back later that day and pick it up :)
The bottom palm rest of my blackbook is cracked and I'm planning on going to the nearest Apple store as soon as I get off for the summer to get it fixed.
Yeah but her model is an unibody one, it shouldn't be breaking since there is nothing slamming at it every time you close the lid.
It has happened before and apple replaced it for free (under warranty). Mine has nothing of those cracks but the top part is new (faulty lcd, replaced for free).

Pokemon still going strong?
After playing Sapphire/Ruby, it feels the game is too simple. Much hasn't changed. It was acceptable for Red/Blue and Gold/Silver since they were GB/GBC games. But, with the GBA I wish they did more. Particularly the animations. And with Diamond/Pearl, I wish they would do even more.
I'll probably get both. One for me, and one for my sister. This game might be worth exchanging friend codes for.

Now a days you have to protect the skin of the iphone. Total Body Skin covers your face again, and wraps around the sides and corners. Even the Home button is covered. Screen covers the face skin. Back to back skin covers the chrome.

What about the WWDC 2009 videos? They aren't up for sale anymore and they don't appear to be part of the free offerings for registered developers. Can anyone confirm whether or not the 2009 videos were added with the 2010 videos?
Who cares? WWDC 2009 videos are sooo last-year! :D

folder enhancer is pretty nice
Which one is the best? There are three that I can see. Free, 99, & $1.49.
My favorite is NoLock. I do not have to swipe to turn my ipad or iphone on. VERY cool. To me, this one app is the single main reason to JB. Apple should give us the option to swipe or not...it's a fundamental flaw IMHO.
Sbsettings, as others have mention, is indispensable, if only for the quick access to brightness. Also, to 2x tap the status bar to switch programs is critical to avoid using the annoying home button popper.
Infinidock is awesome.
MyWi - pretty obvious how important it is to share my signal with my other devices.

Me too. Those machines were really awesome - active matrix displays were a big, big deal back then.
