I'm not so fussed about any photos of it or demo models just so long as they announce it IS happening and what to expect.
Hoping for backwards compatibility (A FLAMING MUST!), better PSN integration, UMD+internal memory and a second analogue stick.

The logic remains problematic. It's like arguing that someone who was just in a car accident increased their chance of getting hurt by driving on the road in the first place. You are indeed blaming the victim.

Not all social interactions need to be a chance for women to seduce men. When people constantly appeal to men's baser instincts why are they surprised when more men act on baser instincts?
The Burqua is worn to protect a woman's modesty and so they don't dress provocatively according to the standards of the country where the Burqua is worn.
Your views of what constitutes provocative dress is clearly less extreme than that but your opinion appears to be remarkably similar: "Women shouldn't dress provocatively."
It is wrong to make judgement of anyone based on how they are dressed: A woman (or man) may dress provocatively for a night out because they want to find a partner for the night or into the future. That doesn't mean they are an open door to any scumbag who thinks that they can violate them

I've been a Mac user since '84 and a Notes user since '93. I also am a Notes developer and I've led dozens of Notes implementations. It's a great platform if it's done well. The biggest achilles heel has been their user interface (on any platform), and they're set to fix that (for the most part) in the next 12 months.
The Notes Mac client hasn't always been the best. Well, never the best but it's been usable and they should be applauded for their long-standing support of the Mac platform. One of the key execs at their development team, Tim Halvorsen, was a key Mac supporter over the years (he's not there now).
The movement of OS X to a robust set of development tools, coupled with the maturity of software development practices in general across the software industry, means that full and exciting support of OS X alongside Windows is now a lot easier than it has ever been...meaning Macs will be making more inroads into enterprise accounts.
I applaud IBM's support of OS X and I only see things accelerating.
By the way...shops with Notes deployed well tend to be just as passionate about Notes and some of us can be about Macs. :-)

Hello everyone. I use mail to receive two gmail accounts - let's call them A and B. For some reason, mail that's sent to address A ends up in the mailbox for B. Is there any way to fix this? Should I just delete both accounts and set them up again from scratch? And also, why does mail keep asking for my hotmail password even though I keep ticking the 'remember' box? Thanks everyone

Dude... I'm assuming you're a Christian to be so up-in-arms about the holiday (but I don't think that's the right example, honestly) -- you need to also be more tolerant of other religious holidays at the same time such as Hananachaka (butchered that) and Kwanza as well as some others, I'd imagine.
Kwanzaa has two a's in it. Before you go slapping on others for posts about meaningless things (the guy can't wait for christmas, so what), you might want to open a dictionary yourself and get a clue.

My 2007 MacPro 2,1 could use a boost also. Sadly it would make sense to replace it with a 27'' iMac with these new 3.4Ghz SandyBridge chip whenever it comes out. I can't really justify buying a 12 core machine just for Folding...

Lets say his girlfriends parents say it's ok for them to sleep in the same room. Also, lets say that you also know that your son is having sex. Lets also say that your son has been going out with this girl for 3 months. So would you let him or not?
I only read the first post, but since your asking opinions I would say it depends on a couple of things?
Do you feel your son is responsible enough to use protection, after all you may want grandchildren, but not this early.
Finally depending on if your son is going away to college or not your gonna have to face the music that sleep overs are gonna happen there regardless

Oh my god, if an iChat Mobile phone happens, and my boyfriend gets a hold of one, I'm doomed. I can't get him away from the computer now as it is, but if he has a way to IM his friends while we're on the street.... ack!!! This could be seriously dangerous to chat junkies.
As for design, I'm REALLY hoping for a flip phone -- but something tells me Apple is going to go with a candy bar design. The only reason I hate those is because no matter HOW complicated it is to lock/unlock the keys, it manages to ALWAYS happen in my pocket. And then I unknowingly place calls to people without realizing it, which is my worst nightmare.
By the way, I think "iChat Mobile" sounds a bit silly for some reason. It almost sounds like it's not a real phone, but a "play" one. Does anyone else get that impression?
