I485 along with EAD and AP applications filed during July 02 for me and my family. Got EAD and AP. Used Company�s attorney to file my applications. I live in Michigan and all documents send to TSC. My I-485 is pending with TSC.
Renewed EAD and AP last year, again used the same attorney. That time they filed EAD and AP applications at NSC as per http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-765instr.pdf page 11
I am still on H1B and never used EAD and AP.
I am planning to file EAD and AP renewal now (paper filing), but this time on my own. My questions are:

There are many EB3 cases going back to 02 which are approvable with I-140 already approved. I am no expert of immi. rules but if point 2 is true, it is a case for further research.
You cannot sue them for any of the above.
1) Most people do not understand the processing date concept. If the date says July 2007, then it is a guideline saying most of the cases before that date have already been processed. It does not mean that they will *not* process cases later than that date.
2) FIFO? If they had not dropped Eb3 cases and focussed on EB2 140s, then a lot of approvable 485s would not have been approved this year, resulting in unused visa numbers. So they made that choice. It is a temporary situation due to the huge backlog of 2007.

guys, the OP clearly mentioned that it was off topic but most of us doesnt agree with what he thinks is good for him. Lets not get into the nitty gritty of pretending or being american or what ever. The more you practice accent or try to put accent into your language the more artificial it will appear. Thats what I have seen and felt. Any way, lets stop feeding the thread as this is outrightly irrelevant.

Since this thread is open and dont want to wast resouce on new thread. I want to ask people those who had already filed 485/EAD/AP that did anyone has taken photos at Walgreens.
I am getting $7.99 for taking 2 photos at Walgreens($48 for 2person with 6 photos deal) in Milwaukee. Whereas in Kinko's I am getting deal of $13.50 for first 2 photo and rest 4 photos for $13.50 ($54 for 2 person with 6 photos deal) in Milwaukee city area.
Now question besides money I want to know which one is worth taking chance for taking a picture interms of quality.

The RFE is about on what basis i am eligible to extend H1B?. I sent copy of my 485 receipt and MTR copy & letter from my current employer explaining my 485 is pending more than 365 days and AC21 we requested for H1 extension.I thought i am going to get only one year but ..got 3 year extension.If you need more details PM me your phone or email .Will glad to help you

Even when NC is pending the actual EB1/2/3 GC is a regular 10 year validity (validity of the card) GC with no annotations/conditions.
How do you know that your 485 was approved even if NC was pending? Does your GC - physical card or the approval notice/emails - indicate that your approval is contingent on NC?

Our current immigration problems are a great reason to unite, to strive to achieve a worthwhile goal. Sure we're facing challenges but, in my opinion, we have a lot to be grateful for. One has only to read the aforementioned CNN article to see just how tough life can be when it chooses to be. My green card problems (only mine, not yours) certainly seem trivial compared to the lifetime of pain life has visited upon those women. Read it-say a prayer for those less fortunate souls-and then resume the struggle with renewed determination.
We will prevail.

Thanks. I did contact USCIS and they have accepted my request to expidite the cast. It is to be seen if it will actually happen.
My other question is, if my renewal does not come through in-time, since the renewal application is in system, can I continue working after the expiry of my current EAD? Or do I have to quit the job and/or leave the country?

Also, how USCIS knows I am working on EAD and not H1B (assuming I have valid EAD and H1B)
If you change from h1b to EAD you have to file one form (name i forgot) and your employer will send it Immigration office.

1. There was I-94 attached which was also lost. Recently, we transferred H-4 to iGate, so Uscis sent i-94 with approval notice, would that work or we need to get apply form 102 for replacement? Also, is there a way to notify uscis that i-94 is lost and will reapply once we get to ?

This is illegal, unless you agreed with your employer prior to joining them. They should have negotiated this prior to joining them. All H1 fees will need to be paid by employer.
Work with your employer, dont get angry....Talk and reason with them, however if they insist you to sign, I would get rid of (3) and (4), since it does not make sense.

Well.I did not have to request for confirmation. My attorney received the letter the next day after I received the automated email. The online status for my case still shows as "Denial Notice Sent".:(

In case of filing for a spouse (wife or husband) and dependent children, form I-764 clearly ask to provide evidence. Atleast most recent year Tax Returns are REQUIRED as per the form. My attorney updated me to present additional 2 years of federal tax returns (not the state) as well, which are optional. Remember these are REQUIRED alongwith W2s or 1099s.
