I could not disagree more. There is nothing wrong with a focused keynote. In fact, it is somewhat refreshing once and a while to have a situation where the man himself takes the time to really go into what I believe is one of the most revolutionary concepts I have seen. Not only is it functional, but aesthetically it is amazing. The price is high if you were expecting them to give it away, but the fact is they have pulled it off and brought mobile technology to the next level and far beyond.

I couldn't believe how easy it was to use the iMovie '11 Trailers feature. It was a little bit strict, so I did have to export it, then import it to make some minor adjustments, but still, very simple.

My application produces a timer value when I shake the iphone. I need to perform 8 shakes and after each shake, i need to save that particular result into a file and later retrieve these values from the file to convert them into binary format. Can someone tell me if this can be done? If so, how?

I am not saying that there are no young men with out the ability to make wise choices. Wise choices are the foundation to wisdom. What I am saying is that you wont know how wise they are until you look back at them years down the road (usually). So I know it is kindof a contridiction. But I'm saying that it might not seem like a mistake now, but you might view it as one later down the road.
Plus the wisdom of men ends where his hormones begins.

I did, in fact, mean using JavaScript on page load to disable the user from changing the size of the textarea, not within my browser. It's like using CSS to disable the dotted border Firefox puts around links when they are active.
Form elements, and the divs that contain them, often need either fixed widths or have widths that are proportional to their containers.
Take Google (http://www.google.com). Depending on how the layout is set up (this is just hypothetical), resizing the search box would push those three links next to it off into oblivion if they were all in a div that was fixed or proportional to the page width. It doesn't matter if Safari "dynamically redraws the page" since the div would still be calculated to be the same. Worse yet, depending on its overflow attribute, they could be pushed onto a new line.
I'd really not like to see Safari become the next IE 5. It already has its share of JavaScript bugs. This would just mean us designers would have to spend that much more time envisioning what would happen if a user resized every form element on every page and incorporating it into our layouts. This is why I hope there's a way to disable it outright.

I used MX-1 on my Radeon 9800XT when I installed an ATI silencer 3 (http://www.arctic.ac/en/p/cooling/eol/vga/252/ati-silencer-3.html) (it came with the ATI Silencer IIRC). It's been almost 4 years and no problems.

It's because very few countries were in September and now nearly 24 hours later, most, if not all countries, are in September.

i've tried to keep a picture log of the team's stats here (http://tville.thruhere.net/tw/index.php?a=topic&t=4414) on my own forum. you'll have to be logged in to view the pics.
basically, we had 132 million points back on 16 Oct and were ranked #60.
we got down to #57 with 202 million points on 20 July 2010.
and now we are back at #60 with over 256 million points today, and we will be passed within a week and will be #61
Quite an... urm... interesting forum...why does it look like a lot of posts are just copy overs from MR? :p

The question asked of heterosexuals =/= asked gay and bisexual men. The risk factor for straight people is risky sex, the risk factor asked for gay men is not risky sex, but sex at all - even once. Its not the same thing. If there was no bigotry behind the question it would be raised this way to all, no matter what orientation "have you had unprotected sex with more than one partner in the last 5 years, if yes have you been tested for HIV?"
Arguments that gay people shouldn't be allowed to give blood? Really? I give way to much credit to society sometimes. Equating homosexuality to prostitution or drug use is so incredibly ignorant.

So, the solution for the Red Cross is to ask "Are you hetersexual, bisexual, or homosexual? If yes, do not donate blood.".
That seems like a non-biased solution to me.
