Buying a house is a big decision and there is nothing wrong in asking others. This forum is all about sharing views if you dont have something nice to say or dont have any idea about housing stop commenting.
He has never shared his opinion or thoughts about economy or housing, simply wants to buy a house. we need people like him to move housing inventory and spend most of his monthly income on housing payments

I think thousand is over exagerated. Most people have filled their application at NSC.
I also have a consiparacy theory now. The dates porbably have moved out because of TSC as they did not have enough cases to process.
U may be right. Do you know the NSC, TSC 485 break up. This is the first time I have heard that NSC has way more apps than TSC. Sorry I may be behind the curve on this..........

very frustrating.. Aug is here, and my PD is current now (using old employer 140).. but cannot file 485 since fragomen-PERM stuck in audit for current employer!!!
I was waiting for PD to become current for almost 2-3 years.. at old employer... now its current.. and i cannot do anything... !!!! just wait and watch!!.. Audit result expected in 6-8 month per fragomen.. 6 years of h1b expiring in 10 months!

Why do we need Recapture more than DREAM ACT or with DREAM ACT?
What makes recapture an important issue as mush as DREAM ACT issue?
Is the question asked to me when I communicated with someone in favor of DREAM act. We need good answers when asked this question.
I was looking at posts to respond back and write to all reporters writing on DREAM ACT. Can someone post convincing answers?

In case the I-485 is filed concurrently with I-140 or on the basis of a I-140 "pending approval", if the "I-140" is rejected (say because it was incorrectly classified as EB-2 when it should have been EB-3), then is the I-485 also automatically rejected? (My guess: YES)
If this happens to you, does this mean you may not be able to resubmit I-485 if your "priority date" is not current at the time you came to know it got rejected? (My guess: YES... and this is a scary scenario.)
Finally, if the I-140 (EB2) is mentions the requirement to be "BS + 5 years of post BS experience", but the the reviewing officer thinks that the 140 application is not supported by "proper" evidence of 5 years of progressive post BS experience.... then would it generate an RFE or would it straightaway cause a rejection of the I-140?
Experts, please comment. I may have to face this scenario.
Thanks!

You should get RFE but rules are changing all the time. If you are not sure file 2nd I-140 with EB3.

Hello All,
I am giving this information after my cousin complete the interview with USCIS on 09/03/2008. Please take a look at the detail conversation bellow.
IO: Immigration Officer
MC: My Cousin
MCL: My Cousin Lawyer
IO: We are not able to verify your finger prints. Thats the reason we called you for the personal interview.
MC: I am ready to give right away.
IO: No your finger print images not at all visible. There is no way we can check your Criminal background.
MC: Is there any other alternate solution for this ? If so please advice.
IO: YesYou have to submit local county police clearance certificates from past 3 years with in 30 days.
MC: Can you increase the time? 30 days might be not sufficient for me to collect all the information
IO: SureMake sure you submit with in 45 days. Thank you.
MC: Can I ask one question?
IO: Sure.
MC: I applied my GC in 2003. Almost 5 years completedNow I have problems with my finger prints. What else I need to do for the getting the approval on GC
IO: Dont worrySubmit the Police clearance certificatesWe will approve your GC soon. With out verifying I cant approve...If I approve I will loose my Job
MCL: Well .My Client PD is Dec 2003 EB3-INDIA. Visa numbers are not available at this time why you are asking to submit police clearance certificates with 45 days? And once we submit how you will approve my Client GC without VISA numbers available?
IO: Good question. All EB Visa Numbers will current in coming 2 months. Thats all I can say. There is some process going on to collect some unused visa numbers.I dont know what exactly going onBut I can say with in 2 months EB Visa numbers will current.
MCL: Oh thats great
IO: Yes it is
MC & MCL: Ok thank you for your time and we will submit police clearance certificates with in 45 days.
IO: Thats goodYou are all set to go now. Thank you.

In the same boat, I have the same status on USPS tracking for delivery at TSC. Will wait and see if the status changes or if they cash the check. So I guess you are not alone. :-)

QGA and its staff should be really appreciated as they had understood our situation and came forward to help us with out we having solid financial background and limited numerical strength.
We all should thank the staffs of various Senators office, who had conveyed our phone calls and fax to the respective senators with out putting any politics into it because none of us are voters.
More over special thanks to the staffs of the Senators who had worked closely with IV and agreed to bring and vote on the immigration bill that incorporates the goals of IV.

I like it when things happen serendipitously - they are much more fun. I like the first shot. Shortlived and fragile, bubbles are fascinating things. You find yourself willing them to last longer but they never do - unless you shoot them.

Is there a document, from the DOL or USCIS, that explains what is a Metropolitan statistical area within which a labor is valid?
I asked one of the attorney's on IV forum in a chat session and she said it is generally the county. Anybody here who can throw more light on this and provide some DOL/USCIS links to references?
Thanks.
