BTW: I thank you for the constructive tone of your message when providing the feedback.
this is a very good idea..but theres only one problem..we had gone to a blood donation drive to give blood..but were not allowed to because they do not take blood from people who have visited third world countries like India in the past 3 yrs.
so we can organise a campaign like this..but blood can be donated only by people who havent visited any third world countires in the past 3 yrs.

After contacting USCIS through Ombudsman & Senaor John Cornyn office I finally got email from Uscis telling me that I am in EB3 and they mistakenly sent me EB2 approval. After this they sent me an amended EB3 approval. Also the immigration officer who worked on my case called me an explained me what exactly happened.
He said that my attorney sent an letter with mi 140 approval saying that if they cannot approve me in EB2 they can consider me In EB3. Which is exactly what they did.but since the application had EB2 their contractor who generates the approval generated an EB2 approval. In Uscis system I was in EB3 and all alone I was thinking that I was in EB2. So i got royally screwed. The only now per immigration officer is for me to restart the gc process from labour stage and recapture the July 2004 pd. I got so sick of this I just stopped worrying about this and currently on Ead. Bought a house and will wait and see how things go. May reapply for labour ....

Most of these case I have heard have got H4 visa without any issues. You will do OK. Go for stamping.
Dont give misleading information. If you are in H1B for three years without pay stub, its a serious issue.

Use your DigiCam
Take pictures on white/light Background
Focus till your waist ( important ).
Then take the card/chip to walmart.
Use the photocenter/kiosk there,
opt for wallet size,$.28 ( each wallet order will print 2 pictures in it )
autoadjust / manual contrast for extra brightness and print it.
collect in 1/2 hr, cut the pictures as needed.
I paid $2 total.

I can probably do it for $0 if I use my passport photo software ..dont have to go to Walmart..
Point is my lawyer has recommended against using Digital Paper.

Hi,
I have seen that myself a couple of times. I had read somewhere on the USCIS site that the dates get updates also as a result of some backend process that they run on their side too, not necessarily when status change happens.

Hi,
Both, me and my wife, have EAD and AP. I am still working on H1 and she is not using her EAD (other than to obtain SSN).
We do not see her working for another year or so. I may switch jobs using AC21 and may do so using H1B transfer or EAD.
So here's my question:
1. Can I skip renewing her EAD and renew just mine?
2. Can we renew her EAD as and when we feel the need, which may be later than the expiry date of her current EAD?
I'd appreciate your thoughts on this matter.

I did check the USCIS website for the July 17, 2007 (reinstating the July Visa Bulletin) and July 23, 2007 (about I-485 fees) notices that are specified on murthy.com link you provided, but did not find them. Again, I want to point somethingout and that is because I myself work in that field - there are people with MS in Computer Science working in core Systems which require their Masters degree knowledge. So, it is not like IT is not included, people with masters in Computer Science is included in STEM.

For folks who have waited that long, they should not keep them tethered to the empoyer or occupation. They could perhaps do its administratively...for instance, anyone with a GC petition pending longer than 5 years should be eligible for adjucation on the basis of EXISTING paperwork.
A lot of folks- illegal immigrants especially- are pushing for administrative relief in the Obama Admn and we - legal immigrants- deserve atleast equal treatment.

We had the same situation and ones got rejected.
By some reason, the software carried my last year's AGI into my wife's last year AGI box. I corrected it and got accepted on second time efile. I used turbo tax software.
