I would get a 11" Air after Sandy Bridge refresh, plus a good monitor and a big 2.5" self powered drive. I don't like my data being stored on more than one computer, unless everything is always synced. You will be able to have a great and powerful machine both at home and on the go.

Hi, bought an 13" white macbook today off a friend for cheap. I knew it had issues and he said it stuck on loading. Which it does.
After reading around it appears it a common problem, but i cant get to the bottom of it.
It shows the login bit where it has the loading bar, then goes to a blue page with curser and then back to spinning wheel.
I have tried the fsck and PRAM stuff.
Just tried botting in verbose mode but it just has one line which is showing it: Login Window Application Started.
Its been like that for 10 minutes or so.
I do not have the install disks but will try and get them if he has them.
Any help?

lookup the ini_set function in the PHP manual. Better is if your ISP allows you to use a .htaccess file.

Did you install the 32-bit or 64-bit version?

I have the same problem on my 2011 quad-core MBP. 8 gb of ram installed and Windows 7 only sees 2.
This is on a 32 bit version. Any ideas?

When you dock it to your iTunes it should pop up a warning that it is sunk to another iTunes account. It should also warn you that if you continue everything will be deleted from your iPad (as in apps, music, videos, books, etc...) and it will sync to your account.
You shouldn't need to restore the firmware to do what you wish....

i want to get a external HD to work with my 27" imac that i purchased last summer.
should i get one with Thunderbolt technology?
Also, would i hook this external up through my router or directly to the imac
neither of which have the thunderbolt connection port....
so, i'm wondering if there's any advantage getting one with TB

If you want the fastest for your current mac, FireWire 800 is the way to go for your current system. USB only devices are slower, but usually cost less.

Well, I checked this thread earlier at work and saw some of the removed replies. I had a feeling there would be some unhappy people considering these phones are slowly approaching commodity pricing.
Anyways, to back up Blue Velvet, this is NOT a feeler thread. I'm looking to buy when I find the right one at the right price. If somebody's not happy with the price that I think they're worth, sorry. However, this is what I'm willing to pay for a used one. Hopefully somebody here is looking to sell a used one and I hear from them.

The mainsite.swf file only shows me some black blips and a yellow bar, and nothing else. The spatialtest.swf only shows me a big yellow box. Kinda hard to diagnose a problem looking at those.

I already have the Gevey Sim Card. My iPhone 4 now shows T-mobile as the cell phone carrier instead of Simple Mobile. I can make calls but the reception is a little spotty now. Do I still need to enter the MMS settings from Simple Mobile on my iPhone 4? The phone is not jailbroken, only unlocked with the Gevey. Thanks

Something I've always wondered about these flexible screens is while they're really neat looking, all the rest of a phone's components are not flexible, so the fact that the screen is flexible is kind of redundant, no?

Unfortuantly, the only answer I have read is your going to have to put your internal DVD unit back in and install it this way and switch back. Pain the ass but won't take that long.

Also note that anytime you have to render raw files (audio or video) in a Final Cut Sequence, it means that the media's specs don't match the Sequence settings. Rendering conforms the media to the Sequence settings ... but when you make an alteration of any kind, it must re-render so that everything will still match.

Yep same flash bug but mine focuses straight away.
The camera roll bug bothers me the most where the folder slides up under the title so you cannot click it.
